sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was originally born July 6, 1946 in Hell's Kitchen as Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone. He's the oldest son of Francesco Stallone Jr. (a hairdresser) and Jackie Stallone (astrologer, and dancer). He has an older brother named Frank Stallone, who is a musician and actor. Because of the complications that occurred during birth, Sylvester's left side was paralyzed. This led to the now famous "snarling", slurred speech and distinctive appearance. Because of the volatile relationships between his parents, Stallone spent his first years in foster care. They split later. Stallone studied drama at American College in Switzerland, prior to moving to the University of Miami. Stallone left school in order to explore acting in New York City.
