Ellie Goulding's (n e Elena Jane Goulding 30 December, 1986 Hereford England) She is an English singer-songwriter from England. Ellie Goulding's infectious electronic sound rapidly pushed her into the top of the charts when she was noticed by people in the year 2010. She was able to do this with the songs "Starry Eyed", and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has a unique soprano scream and a knack for writing emotional songs with inspiring lyrics. Like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she's on the cutting edge of contemporary mainstream pop as well as artistic independent music.
